Children’s Restoration Network (CRN) is a non-profit organization that was established on September 23rd, 1993, and has a long history of providing direct and supportive services to homeless children and mothers living in Metro Atlanta. What began more than three decades ago as a small group of volunteers lending a hand at a single women and children shelter in Downtown Atlanta has expanded and grown into an organization that works with over 100 group homes, emergency shelters, domestic violence shelters and community organizations and shelters throughout 19 counties in our community.
Through direct services and educational programs, we strive to provide the mothers and children we serve with physical, academic, and emotional support to help them build brighter futures. Through these programs and services, CRN helps with basic necessities ranging from food and school supplies to adult guidance and scholarships for college, trade, and technical school. We also realize that assisting mothers is the best way to help a child. Our efforts and focus are, therefore, directed to support both children and their mothers to ease their transition through homelessness.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active, productive citizens through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
Our Vision
Our vision is to continually seek to enhance our ability to offer significant resources to homeless children and mothers and make a demonstrable difference in their lives by creating strong partnerships and attaining financial stability.
