Every December, we strive to ensure a memorable and meaningful Christmas for over 3,000 homeless children in metro Atlanta.

We are into our planning stage for 2017’s “12 Days of Caring”.  The collection campaign begins November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving, and runs through December 17th. The Wrap Party begins December 15th and runs through December 19th. The hours are 10 am till 4:30 pm each day. CRN will be collecting toys, clothing and gift cards to give to homeless infants, children and teens for Christmas. Volunteers are encouraged to start gift drives in their offices, churches, schools, neighborhoods and clubs.

Suggested gifts include:

  • Books, diaries, puzzles
  • Action figures
  • Diapers, formulas, baby toys
  • Ethnic dolls, and accessories
  • Lego kits
  • Cars, trucks, remote control
  • Kitchen playsets,
  • Cosmetics, personal care items
  • Board games
  • New clothing (Sizes XS-XXL)—sweatshirts, sweaters, underwear, blue jeans, jackets
  • Shoes (Up to size 13)
  • Watches and jewelry
  • Electronics–tablets, games, MP-3 players
  • Bikes, skateboards, scooters
  • Sporting equipment, team clothing, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls
  • Gift cards–Wal Mart, Target, Old Navy, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, etc.

Volunteers are invited to help wrap gifts at our annual Wrap Party. The Wrap Party will be held December, 15, 16, 17  from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at  3965 John’s Creek Court, Suwanee, GA 30024.  For map  CLICK HERE . There may be additional help needed on the 18th through the 23rd.

Over the weekend volunteers will pick, wrap, and personalize over 18,000 gifts for metro Atlanta’s homeless children.

In 2016, more than 1,000 volunteers and companies helped sort, wrap and personalize gifts for homeless children. The support of great volunteers and donors is essential to CRN’s purpose.
