About Us

Children’s Restoration Network (CRN) is a nonprofit organization that was established on September 23rd, 1993 and has a long history of providing direct and supportive services to homeless children and mothers living in Metro Atlanta. What began over 27 years ago as a small group of volunteers lending a hand at a single shelter in Downtown Atlanta has expanded and grown into an organization that works with over 100 group homes and shelters throughout 19 Metro-Atlanta counties. Each year, we work with over 6,700 homeless children and 1,200 homeless mothers in order to provide them with the support and resources they need to break the cycle of homelessness.

Our programs and special events are specifically designed to provide the mothers and children we serve with physical, academic, and emotional support in order to help them build brighter futures. Through these programs, CRN helps children receive basic necessities, ranging from food and school supplies to adult guidance and scholarships for college. We also realize that assisting mothers is the best way to help a child. Programs are therefore directed to support both children and their mothers to ease their transition through homelessness.

Our Vision

Our vision is to continually seek to enhance our ability to offer significant resources to homeless children and mothers and make a demonstrative difference in their lives by creating strong partnerships and attaining financial stability.

Our Mission

Our mission is to offer hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active, productive citizens through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
